ALWAYS LOVE, ALWAYS TEXAS â‹’
Our mission is to create a safe space where all students are welcomed and celebrated. We work to create an organization with a diverse membership in traits such as race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, identity, and/or experience. Authenticity and inclusivity drive our organization's core, and we are committed to ensuring that Always Texas upholds our seven foundational values, or pillars: Spirit, Service, Inclusivity, Community, Progressivism, Traditions, and Love. We strive to serve all working-class people and marginalized communities, such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), disabled folks, and those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a spirit organization at The University of Texas at Austin, we work to build an inclusive culture that encourages, empowers, and supports individuals to be their most authentic selves and find comfort in all their identities.

Our Philantropy
Always Texas is proudly partnered with the Kind Clinic as our main source of philanthropy. The Kind Clinic is a program of the Texas Health Action non-profit organization dedicated to offering affirming and sex-positive health services in a safe and supportive environment, serving LGBTQIA+ people as well as people impacted by HIV. The Kind Clinic was created by and for the communities we serve, and we're committed to sustaining our innovative healthcare model and pursuit of health justice for decades to come. Now serving over 25,000 Texans annually, Kind Clinic is one of the largest and most trusted providers of care for LGBTQIA+ individuals in Texas.
Every spring semester, Always Texas dedicates our very own annual Gay Gala to contribute towards the culturally affirming healthcare services, including gender-affirming care and STI testing, that the Kind Clinic offers in hopes of giving back to our local Austin community in support of LGBTQIA+ community members in Texas.
